n the weaving workshop for children up to the age of 16, colorful yarns are used to create pretty potholders, coasters or ribbons. Older children can also work on the loom and playfully discover the fascinating world of threads.

Print vacation course
In the printing workshop for children up to the age of 16, you can work with movable type made of metal or wood. They can try out the printing process themselves on an old printing press and creatively design small printed matter.

Fibers, threads, fantasy
The old art of hand spinning comes to life in the spinning course at the museum. Fine threads are created from sheep's wool - directly on the spinning wheel and just like in the old days. An insight into a traditional craft with practical experience.

Picture&Bean
A lecture at Museum DIE WEBEREI sheds light on the life of Louise Otto-Peters, a pioneer of the German women's movement. She courageously fought for education, participation and equal rights in the 19th century and also left a lasting mark in Oederan.
