Cabinet exhibition: Saxon castles and palaces in Z-gauge
Horst Oschmann's delicate paper models of Saxon castles and palaces on a scale of 1:220 tell of great passion on a small scale. The exhibition is complemented by atmospheric oil paintings of regional buildings by Uwe Gerschler.
Special exhibition: European Design Award 2025 for wood sculptors
Under the motto "Lichtblicke", the European Design Award exhibition presents 48 sculptures that celebrate the diversity and depth of wood sculpture and offer a fascinating insight into the combination of tradition and contemporary art.
Vacation offer: A knights' day with knighthood
Knight Günther gives children a personal tour of his castle and reveals mysterious corners and exciting stories. To top it all off, an archery session awaits. An experience full of adventure and fun that will delight little explorers.
General guided tour of the palace: Cross-section
This tour gives an overview of the most important places in the castle. For example, the black kitchen with its huge stove and functioning chimney and the huge towers that conceal dungeons and torture chambers.

Herb tour
Herb woman Agnes and kitchen maid Adelheit guide visitors around Rochlitz Castle and engage in the odd battle of words. They process the herbs in the historic black kitchen and invite you to sample their culinary delights.
Fairytale tour: The good ones in the pot, the bad ones in the bowl
Many of the things told about in fairy tales have their origins in castles and fortresses. The tour reveals what Cinderella's ashes are all about, how to heat with wood and why hot porridge was once so popular.

Creative painting in and around Rochsburg Castle with August Ohm
Under the motto "Learn the rules like a pro so that you can break them like an artist", Rochsburg Castle invites you to a painters' meeting. Artists with previous experience work under the guidance of August Ohm and bring their own materials and food.
