The hike to the Karl May Cave offers groups of up to 25 people a special experience. In around 4 hours, the tour can be ideally combined with a visit to the Karl May House.
Karl May in America. Fantasy and reality
Until the end of his life, Karl May claimed to have traveled outside Europe in his youth. But he only traveled to the Orient in 1899/1900 & to the USA in 1908. Documents, pictures and objects from this trip to America form the basis of the special exhibition.

Old Shatterhand recounts his adventures, while Mother May tells exciting anecdotes from the sewing box - a tour through the permanent exhibition on Karl May's life and work that brings history and legend to life.
