Guided tour with laser show in the Syrau dragon cave
The approx. 10-minute show during the tour of the cave combines the elements of light and music with the bizarre rock formations, immersing visitors in a world that they can only experience here. Dragon Justus also drops by.
Syrau Dragon Cave - Excursion into the realm of Justus the dragon
A trip to Saxony's only show cave is well worthwhile. In this mysterious, hidden world, you can see a variety of different stalactites, crystal-clear lakes, soft clay formations and bizarre sinter curtains.
Cave park
There is a 2-hectare cave park above the Dragon's Cave. The former quarry has been transformed into a beautiful park with an open-air stage and powder hut (both for hire), exploration areas and an adventure garden with interesting facts about the earth, rocks and the cave.
Terra Varis
Terra means earth, Varis stands for the "Variscan Mountains", which unfolded 500 km wide around 400-220 million years ago and stretched from the Sudeten Mountains across southern Belgium and France to Wales - there are exciting things to experience about the origins of our low mountain ranges.
Dragon's lair takes you to the underworld
During an approx. 50-minute guided tour, visitors learn interesting facts about the Syrau Dragon Cave & its mysterious world with a variety of different stalactites, crystal-clear lakes, soft clay formations and bizarre sinter curtains.
Birds of prey and owls up close
The Herrmann falconry brings the world of birds of prey and owls to life. An excursion tip especially for tour groups and schoolchildren in the "green classroom". There is also the opportunity to become active as a falconer yourself on adventure days.
Flight demonstrations at the Herrmann falconry
The fascination of birds of prey and owls is brought to life in a 70-minute show. Spectacular swooping flights of falcons, the majestic flight of eagles and the silent flight of owls are shown. There are also insights into the history of falconry.
Asparagus time at the Theatercafé
The long-awaited asparagus season is finally here! Whether combined with salmon, chicken or as a fresh salad garnish - this delicious seasonal vegetable is an absolute must for every gourmet and ensures pleasure on the plate!
